Meet the Doctor

Dr. Michael Minge II, or Dr. Mike as most people call him, graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 2005, where he was an Academic Chiropractic Excellence Intern. He began his journey into the fascinating world of self-healing when a local chiropractor invited him to observe his work. Dr. Mike was amazed at the miraculous stories people relayed to him concerning their own personal experience with chiropractic care. Dr. Mike, having been a pre-med student heading towards a medical doctor degree, was both surprised and elated that people were actually seeing healing results without medicine or surgery. This experience opened his eyes to achieving true health and wellness by relying on the body’s own natural ability to heal itself when given the proper building blocks and correct stimuli.

Dr. Mike is known for his light force adjusting method, though he is knowledgeable and proficient in many other chiropractic styles and techniques, and will be happy to create a personalized care plan for you. Often in combination with massage therapy for faster healing and lasting results.

Dr. Mike is also the proprietor of Open Hart Chiropractic in Bridgewater, Virginia where he practiced for five years prior to returning to the Tri-Cities region. Dr. Mike adores working with children and loves “clowning” around with them by creating one of his over 150 balloon animal creations, or showing them his latest magic trick.
